The company was established in 1994 being involved in manufacturing, installation and maintenance of traffic control devices like programmable traffic controllers, traffic count downs and led traffic light heads.

By the year 2003 the company expanded its activities to ITS projects .After investigation and comparison between different traffic management systems in the world the company introduced SCATS system to Iranian metropolitan cities. The first city to be equipped with this system was Tehran. By the year 2010 six large cities including Mashhad, Shiraz, Esfahan, Kermanshah, Tabriz and Tehran have been equipped with SCATS system. Our key engineers were trained in Australia and the whole projects including the loop detector installations, civil works, implementation of the whole system and training of the client staff and maintenance of the system have been completed by our company’s trained and experiences staff.

Beside the SCATS system the company became active in software program developing, civil engineering and maintenance services nationwide. This includes parking management system, centralized management system for variable message signs, lane control, motorway and tunnel management system, radar speed indicator sign and other traffic control and management devices and systems.

The first international activities of the company included installation of traffic count down as a pilot project in Stockholm, Sweden in 2008 and then executing a training course for a Pakistani company on intersection signaling program developing. The owners of company have decided to establish Middle East ITS in Dubai. Middle East ITS was registered in Dubai in 2010.The company has an exclusive distributorship agreement with Aldridge Traffic Controllers from Australia in the region including UAE, Iran, Syria. UAE is the Center of Excellence for Aldridge Traffic Controllers and Middle East ITS was appointed by ATC as the official representative to take this responsibility in the region.
